Reuniting Penn State’s Two Law Schools: Updates from the Panel
A panel of 14 students, staff, faculty and alumni from Penn State Dickinson Law and Penn State Law are developing recommendations on how to reunite Penn State’s two, separately accredited law schools. The panel is meeting weekly and will share its final recommendations with Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi by May 31, 2023. Updates from the panel will be shared on this page as the initiative progresses.

The panel was provided an overview of the meeting held on April 24, 2023, with the executive sponsors and the chair and vice chair of the panel to review the rough draft recommendations collectively worked on by panel members.

The panel took a poll and reached consensus on the model option to include in the recommendations to the president. The panel was asked to continue working on their sections of the draft recommendations template for future discussion at the next panel meeting.
